Job Description
Transform Communities. Grow as a Clinician. Heal Generations.
Roots & Resilience is a nonprofit, licensed Community Mental Health Center seeking passionate mental health clinicians to join our growing team. Our work centers on addressing intergenerational trauma through Applied Family Systems (AFS), trauma-informed care, and meaningful community connection. We believe healing extends beyond the individual, creating opportunities for change within families and across generations.
We welcome both fully licensed mental health professionals and licensure candidates who are passionate about relational, culturally responsive, and systems-based care.
As a W-2 clinical employee, you'll have opportunities to:
- Provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Develop clinical skills through ongoing supervision, collaborative case consultation, and reflective learning.
- Participate in our Applied Family Systems model, supporting healing within individuals and their broader relational systems.
- Engage in office-based, school-based, community-based, and experiential services according to your role, interests, and training.
- Work with diverse populations, including rural and historically underserved communities.
Why Roots & Resilience?
We believe clinicians deserve the same care, support, and connection we strive to provide our clients. Our team offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment with individualized clinical supervision, professional development, administrative and billing support, and opportunities to grow within a unique family-systems approach.
We value authenticity, curiosity, cultural humility, and the understanding that meaningful clinical work happens through relationships—not simply productivity metrics.
Who We're Looking For
- Fully licensed clinicians or licensure candidates in counseling or social work.
- Professionals passionate about trauma-informed, family-systems-oriented mental health care.
- Individuals committed to collaboration, ethical practice, and continued professional growth.
- Clinicians who value serving children, families, military members/veterans, LGBTQIA+ communities, and rural populations.
BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, first-generation professionals, and individuals with lived experience of systemic barriers are especially encouraged to apply.
